Foxes, Kayaks, & Hot Springs

Today we left beautiful Isafjordur for beautiful Patreksfjordur. First stop was the Arctic Fox Center, where we learned about Iceland’s only native land mammal. Then we kayaked around the ocean. There were a few dips in the water, but with wetsuits on it wasn’t so bad. Next step was Dynjandi waterfall, an incredible cascading waterfall that pictures don’t do justice to. If anyone was still feeling cold it was cured by a short dip in a hot spring overlooking the fjords. We finally made it to Patreksfjordur, and are excited to go on a hike to see puffins tomorrow!
