It’s hard to believe today was our last day of the trip. Our grand finale was a trek on the Sólheimajökull glacier. We climbed up and over a stretch of this retreating glacier, peering into crevasses and crossing streams of melting ice.

We gathered for our final dinner and final group meeting, talking about our favorite moments of the trip, our favorite Sturla moments, and making many plans to see each other, and Iceland, again.

We are so grateful to have been able to travel this incredible country with this incredible group of people. Tak fyrir!
